I have a 96 Grand Am SE. The problem which I'm having is a very annoying one to me as I keep getting locked either in or out of my car.
Heres the problem, every so often I can't unlock the car doors (car is equiped with power locks. It seems that neither the key or the locking latch or the power lockes can "unjam" the locked door. I've tried many combinations ie. power switch+key, outer handle+manual lock etc etc. The door is closed and will not open. This problen happens on both doors but so far only one at a time but I'm sure one day I'll be locked in the darn thing and have to crawl out the window. Has anyone else had similar problem or shed some light on this as it's very annoying. Lastly the only thing I can see from the interior of the car is that the manual slide of the lock will not move much and seems to be held up by something so as not to allow to move to the unlock position.
