Dear Group,
I own a 2000 Pontiac Montana minivan. In the past 4 months the gas gauge has begun to fail. At first it would fluctuate wildly and now it remains on full regardless of the quantity of gas in the tank. I do recall a while back stories of this problem? Does anyone if a recall did occur?
What is involved in fixing the problem?

Get some Techron, and then stay away from Shell stations (and PetroCan in Canada) Something in their additive package fouls the sender on GM and Chryco vehicles. Documented fact. Had problem on both my 95 Trans Sport and my daughter's '98 Neon. Fuel system cleaner and a switch of fuel solved both - virtually overnight.
