Have 93 grand am, 5 speed, and am in need of the gear shifter boot. Fits over gearshift and snaps into console. Pontiac dealer says discontinued, called several junk yards, no luck. Thought maybe you guys would know of place that might have. Searched internet car parts, ones i tried not even listed under steering. Anyone could point me somewhere I will be thankful.
If its one of those leather looking sock type boots get one from a newer Grand Am and make it fit.

Check out web sites for Grand Ams, they may point you to a parts person.
Also, get the GM part number from the dealer, then start contacting Pontiac part sites with that number.
If you are a member of the Pontiac Oakland Club, they are lots of folks who deal in parts via their web site and news letter.
Last though, go to your local bone yard with the part number. They can cross reference it to the years used (ask to look it up in the Holert Interchange Manual), then put out an APB over the salvage yard network for you. Look on the internet for salvage yards, there use to be a site that allowed you to tap into the network yourself.
