Anyone know the trick to bypassing the V.A.T.S. module for a '94 Bonneville? The Key and cylinder are not the problem. I am trying to avoid replacing the module. Thanks for any help.

One day when you can actually get the car started with a key, while its running sneak up on the yellow (or is it white?) wire thats part of the 3 wire bundle and cut it, the SECURITY light will go on, but the car will be able to be started with a screw driver from now on.
Does it have VATS 1 or 2?, this trick worked on the #2 kind that was in my
99 sunfire.
