Pontiac TransAm GTA 1989

Hi !

This is my first post in this group, and i hope someone can help me.

I've been asked to help fix a Pontiac TransAm GTA, '89, with the 350 Fuel Injected engine.

Problem is the car starts only randomly, seems to be a lack of ignition or fuel, I haven't been able to check it up personally yet, but I've had it described to me like the engine is turning, but not starting, but if you leave it for a few hours or so, and try again, it starts (not always, but sometimes), no difference if the engine is hot or cold.

The fuel injection is made by Bosch, but it seems to be another model than I am used to (I work mostly with SAAB engines, they have the Bosch LH injection).

A wiring diagram would be nice too, to see how the ignition and fuelinjection interacts, I imagine the ignition sends some sort of signal to the injection that the ignition is up and working and the engine turning.

Best regards
