Radio brightness

2007 Pontiac Grand Prix.

It has the standard radio with CD, and the clock display is very dim. I have the dash light control FULL UP. Is the radio display also controlled by this dash light control? By chance is there a separate control for the clock display?

Dash light brightness controls brightness when the lights are on but has no effect when lights are off. No separate control for clock
