Re: 97 Grand Prix A/C Leak

There is a refrigerant sealant that is used in commercial/residential applications and not the automotive for some reason,(forget the name) it is not cheap, about $75.00 Canadian, but this stuff will seal any small leaks and lasts. I used it on my 94 GP two years ago and the system is still tight. You should be able to buy this at any heating, cooling and air conditioning supplier.

I'm guessing that I would follow that with a full charge of freon? Was it a kit with hoses/adapters and instructions, or just a can that someone will need to use with a system when they charge it?
