I just picked up my '05 GT and I love it! It's very solid and drives great. The engine is a little louder than I would like, but that's what the 7 speaker stereo is all about. The wheel and stick position take some getting used to. Otherwise I have no complaints.
What about the Vibe AWD?
I didn't test the AWD 'cuz it didn't come with a stick, and is only available with the lower HP engine. It would probably be a little better on the ice and snow (of which we get a fair amount), but I wanted the power. The GT also came with more standard features, but it is also a little more expensive.
