Urgent 2004 Pontiac Vibe Question

Hello,



This is going to sound really stupid but how do you open up the gas tank door. The reason I ask is that my wife just got a 2004 Vibe last week and it didn't have the owners manual. (the dealer is ordering one). Anyways my wife just called me from the gas station in a panic because she doesn't know how to open the gas tank door. Is there some kind of latch on the inside of the car that pop that gas door? Sorry for such a dumb question.



Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's a lever located on the floor on the left side of the driver's seat.

In addition...you must make sure you twist the gas cap back on securely. Make sure it clicks a bunch. If it isn't placed back on with enough turns, you'll get a "check engine" light.
