Hi, new to this site, i have bought a 220 di rover, it has full service history 81k but in the cold weather it doesn't start brilliantly, runs on about three and needs throttle to start and needs to be held on high tickover for about 20 seconds, is this normal?. By finding a link i have found out it only has three glow plugs is this the problem?. One other thing went to start it last night and it wouldn't fire, well i say that it did on about the fouth turn, could this be a immobiliser problem?. It may be a one off as it started ok this morning. Are there any known faults with this engine?, it is the 105 version. Are there any owners with high miles on the clock?.
