1999 9.5 exhaust system

Hi, How much (ballpark) should I expect to pay for a new exhaust system, from the converter back?

Thanks in advance. TM

installed or DIY?

I got a great deal for the same car from eeuroparts.com, shipping included. Prices are on their web site. Took me all of about 45 minutes to install it since I was replacing the entire system from cat back and didn't have to make anything fit the old system.

Installed. Either at a dealer, or a local Speedy, Midas, etc. That is a larger project than I've ever tackled. The family is leaving for a trip friday and I would hate to delay it. Thanks TM

FWIW, Saab exhausts are the easiest install I've ever done.

Do *not* go to a muffler shop. Either have it done at the dealer or find an independent Saab mechanic to do it.

Depending on how your Saab is configured (engine size & aspiration) around 290.00-370.00 wholesale--parts only for stock replacement.

I have to go with Bob on this one. It was one of the easiest exhaust jobs that I've ever done. Comes in two pieces, one bolts to the cat with two bolts. The other uses a clamp to connect together. I was pretty serious when I said that it was a 45 minute job.

If you do it, buy the hangers and the clamps and the bolts. No sense not being able to do the job because you're missing one of these.
