A few weeks ago, while accelerating from a slow speed, my transmission seemed to miss a gear. I lost power and the transmission warning light went on - by power loss I mean the engine would rev normally but there was no power going to the wheels.
After stopping and re-starting, power was restored. I drove to the dealer who reset the warning light and everything was back to normal.
This happened again after another month of driving. And then, today after another couple of weeks driving. This time, power was not restored.
I'm preparing myself for the shock of having this diagnosed and repaired. Has anyone else had similar problems, what was the cause, how was it fixed and how much did it cost.
