Could anyone tell me where I might find some information on how the roof mechanism for my 9.3 works. Is it worth buying a Haynes Manual to diagnose the problems I'm having, or is there better information available online

Found the problem - there was no oil in the reservoir. Sorry for not getting back sooner.
