A bit awkward though, I remember going through a fast food drivethrough in an old RHD Jag my dad had when I was a kid, I always had to do the transactions. It's a weird sensation to drive one too if you're used LHD, or for that matter to ride as a passenger in the front seat. Mail delivery trucks are all RHD though.

I had a holiday to Canada in 1996, and the opposite is true too - getting used to LHD when RHD is the norm here in Australia is quite strange. Actually what took more concentration was pushbike riding, and remembering which side of the road to be on to turn the way I wanted to go. 8-)

Didn't know the mail trucks there were RHD though - is that due to the way the mail is delivered? Here our mailmen used to use pushbikes but thesedays use small Honda motorbikes instead. We get mail deliveries once a day Mon to Fri but not on public holidays, except December when we get mail 7 days a week and usual twice a day!

One of the very first things I noticed about my C900's is that they seem to have been designed to use LHD controls from the outset. It was a bit strange looking at all the pushrods, etc. running against the firewall under the dash to control the brake, etc.

Mail delivery trucks (and cars) are right hand drive so the can drive down the normal (right-hand) side of the road and stuff mail into the rural delivery type mailboxes on the side of the road.

In the US we only get delivery 6 days a week and once per day. Never more or less unless there is a Federal holiday. in which case that day is skipped.

Well... they were designed right from the start. ;-)

Actually I have seen twice a day deliveries in December (in Massachusetts). While I don't think it was any official schedule, I have seen them come around twice in a day to deliver mail....presumably because of high mail volumes.

I wonder what Fedex shipping to the US would be? That would be fun having a right side driver auto here.
