How do you check transmission fluid on 2003 9-3 Saab?

Does this auto trans have a dipstick? Grandfather cannot find a stick???? Someone told him he may have to put it up on a rack to check the fluid level. Is there any truth to this? Need input...

Probably not... most modern Saab transmissions are filled for life, no need to renew the oil.
