YES!
...and for a more detailed answer, please provide a more detailed question.
Just remove the switch, and you can screw the bulb of from the side...it work atleast on some of them.
In what car? I did this on a '87 900, it obviously wasn't designed to be replaceable but it is possible with some patience.
