When I started my 97 Saab 900 S yesterday morning, I got a front light error. I thought I had a bad bulb. Today when I tried changing the bulb, I found both low beams out. High beam and fog lights work fine, but both low beams (and by default daytime lights) are not working. Any ideas? Thanks Larry
Low Beams Out

Does the new bulb work?
If the bulb is genuinely burned out, you should be able to see a break in the filament. The low beam is used far more than the high beam since there is much more traffic on the roads these days. I can't remember ever having changed the high beam bulb on my 9000 (8 years).
New bulb does not work either side.
I looked for the filament break and don't see one in the original nor in either of the replacement bulbs I tried.
Check fusebox. Either fuse is melted, or it just need a little wriggle in the socket.
I checked the fuses-there is one for each low beam, and they both check good. Do you know how the relay set in the fuse box might affect it? Thanks
I suspect he meant ' have you checked the bulb is ok ? '. As in by other means not involving your Saab.

Thanks, Checked with multimeter. Jiggled changed, took things out and put them back. Lights are working now. Thanks
Good to hear. Hope I was of help.
