Gee I have a '94 9000cse with 135k on the clock that runs like new. I've had it since it had 66k on it and only had minor problems with it. I did have 2 bigger issues along the way. One right after I bought it and a radiator hose blew while I was cruising along the freeway and caused the car to overheat since I was not able to pull over soon enough, that required a new head gasket, an while I had the head apart I did some PM on the timing shain and tensioners.

The other was a tranny problem that caused a gear to go out.

Bullshit- I know you guys sing only praises of SAAB. Just go and ask ten people - everyone agrees that the quality control of Saab sucks. Saabs drive well- I have one. But they fail at the drop of a hat. I wish GM throws out these Saab asshole managers and engineers and bring the cars to atleast GMlevel

Well then ask me. I have a 1993 9000 CSE 2.0 LPT 120,000 miles, still goes like new. I maintain it and have had some repairs over the years, but nothing unusual or expensive. It all depends on a garage that know what they are doing and don't make the any problems worse. In particular I'm very impressed that all the electronic managements still works so well so that the engine is running smoothly. The car is definitely quality build.
