Saab servicing quality control

Aug 13, 2003 1 Replies

I had my 9-5 serviced in the UK by a Saab dealer. They stamped the service log book but left the column marked Quality Check empty. When I queried this they told me that the Saab UK policy is to quality check only 30% of cars.

Is this right, it seems odd?

TIA

seems right, since my 2003 Linear missed the QA process (transmission replaced at 400 miles, CD player malfunction, and the car was released with squeaky brakes although upgrades are now available)... just waiting to see what the next problem will be... good thing I have 48k miles left on the warranty
