Seat Warmer Never Turns Off

I own a 99 9-5 with 94K miles. I have two problems.


  1. The seat warmers do not turn off. They are always on regardless of the switch settings. Any suggestions on how to diagnose this? I assume I have a stuck relay....


  1. When I shut the car off, around half of the time, the pump (?) located in front of the battery continues to run. I disconnect the battery to reset it. What is this pump? How do I diagnose the problem?

Pull the heated seat switch to test. It should be straight forward.

Is it not the radiator fan running after the engine is shut off?

Thank you for the reply. No, it is not the radiator fan. It is a pump located in between the battery and the headlight. It sounds like a compressor. I also notice that the gauage doesn't rise to a 'normal temp' during my 20 mile ride to work. Any suggestions on diagnosing this? Thanks
