What battery for a 900?

I do not have a suggestion, but there is one thing to watch out for. I have in my 91 900 what I believe to be the right battery type (26R, I believe). However, the posts are mounted towards the backside of the battery, resulting in battery mounting bracket being suspiciously close to the posts; I can easily short the positive post to the bracket (hence, to earth) when I use my wrench to loosen or tighten the nut if I am not careful.

One hint, the positive terminal is normally shielded. Remove the ground terminal first, then do the positive terminal. When installing, do positive first, then ground. Worst you can do with the ground terminal is generally short it to chassis (if the positive terminal is properly insulated).
