when the PS fluid gets low, there will be a squeeling.

My SW2 has had it since about 60K miles. Its sounds like something rubbing against rubber while turning the steering wheel.

Irritating but not worth a dealer service check.

look under and see if there is any wear on your inner fender well if not look by where the avel goes through the splash gaurd. I was driveing the interstate and something broke my gaurd I didn't hear or see anything but I started to hear a squeak noise when I turned and it turned out to be the splash gaurd rubbing against my axel. try that. Hope this helped
