Wonder how that worked.

"This truck has a 350 chevy and turbo 350 trans. front disk brakes and for nine inch in the rear. amc pacer independent front suspension NO FRAME MODS MADE!!! clean truck interior done. needs some electrical work. inherited 5 years ago from grandfather. we built it together and would like see go to a good home."

Pacer (and also Corvair) front suspensions were common StreetRod conversions back in the seventies and early eighties. They were fairly easy to install under 30's & 40's model cars and trucks that originally had a straight axle front end. jf

Would that help the ride ?

Yes. And also improve the braking and steering. Like comparing the ride of a Champ PU to a Lark. jf
