I got a call from Bob Peterson in Castro Valley, California this am re our eastern swap meets. He is planning to come to Reedsville to deliver pre-sold frames and other Studebaker parts. For those of you who don't know him, he currently has a rented yard where he stored 40 to 60 Studebakers. He is losing the yard next May and is trying to sell as much as he can to avoid having to scrap stuff. He has already hauled 1 1/2 tons of manifolds, six-cylinder blocks, etc to the scrappers. He is saving frames and will bring back as many as 15 (plus other parts that he can stick on his truck and trailer). He will haul them free and he will also drop off along his route for those who can't make Reedsville. He has primarily Lark frames, but has some GT and some Wagonaire (X-frames) too.
