OK,am I the ONLY Stude owner with a weepy tank sender gasket??? What sort of magic combination did YOU use to get it sealed??? TIA....................

Are you sure it's the gasket and not actually leaking around the screw heads?
You need to use NEW copper washers around the screws to properly seal them. Problem is where to get the copper washers. Try Phil Harris at Fairborn Studebaker or maybe a well eqipped local hardware or plumbing outlet.
HyLoMar, I get mine at NAPA. It was designed to seal rolls royce jet engine oil and fuel containers, neat stuff.
