Very interesting reading. Always like to hear about past workers. Have wondered and thought about the people who put my car together and there attitudes back then. Was it just a job or a passion. Most of the time we will never know. It is like "Hanks" story that we get some insight on the way it was. Thanks for sharing.

Informative. I advised my Mom to stay active when she turned 65 & approached retirement. I told her to have a schedule in which she would get up & get going to do something every day, when she was not travelling. Her employer offered to let her work 3 day/week & take vacations whenever she wanted. She has now done this for 11 years & is thriving. The genteman reads the Bible, & also had good advise about TV, smoking & alcohol use. I wish him well.
