Save the Studebaker building ...

Sorry that so many places want to bury our past history...They took down our Sydney Steel Plant so fast we never had time to think and see the site for what it was and is now...Nothing...If left alone people would have paid to see what we did there for 100+ years...Lots of go nowhere deals since then and a empty block of land with a fence around it... The City now trying to figure how to get some tax money from it...

Could you post a picture of this Stude building here that you want to save......Add my name to the list to save it...Lansing Small

But..... Having been to the abandoned Kyser steel plant in California, and then having been to the Penske owned race track built on that site.... Good riddance to the old steel plant. Way better use of space. Stude people are collectors. They just can't help themselves. The Stude bldg is just the latest example that exposes this trait. Sort of like telling your kid to clean their room. Resistance is futile...if there is someplace that stuff can be hidden. But to try and hide a big ol' block of 75+ (swag) year old concrete... That's going to be like the elephant in the refrigerator. But, it's fun to watch people wrestle with their Studeamons Jeff PS: My date choice is the day after Labor day, tuesday, September 7th,
