I would look in Roseland.... it is up near the 80/90 toll road and right by the Notre Dame campus.

There are a LOT of Good, Decent, and crappy ones to choose from.

be careful if you bring a trailer!! last year I went to the chapter meet and got a suprise when the hotel I picked did not have room to swing a trailer!! I know it is the DRIVERS

And make sure your tow rig and trailer have a good lock and alarm system on them. The 'remote' parking lot in South Bend that they parked tow rig and trailers had a theft out of it in '02 that went straight to Gary, Indiana's finest neighborhood.

I know of a theft of a truck and trailer during the night from a motel parking lot up in the Roseland area during the 2002 SDC International Convention. I didn't know about the one in the remote parking lot. I guess that there were at least two of that type of theft then.

What I remember from 2002 is the bad gasoline that I, and others, got there.
