Studebaker Trailer 1935?

Went to the hospital to see my girlfriends cousin who had a bad wreck, and has now died, While waiting in the waiting room i was talking to an elderly uncle of the family, and he told me he had a 1935 Studebaker trailer in his back yard, says it's all there tailgate, fenders too, 16 inch wheels, the fenders have a brace welded to the top of them, Haven't seen it yet, (sleeting hard all day today} and the funeral was today also. Will at least take pictures of it asap

Interesting, as Stude's first pickup was in '37. (If it was a pickup box type setup)... Either way, I'd like to find out more, too! Jeff

Wasn't there an earlier model rare Stude light truck on eBay a few weeks back that had a pickup bed? It was a model before the J5...?

I've seen factory pic's of prototypes, and have heard of other Studebaker truck chassis and cabs having a box mounted on them, But the J5 was the first 'production' light pickup offered as a light duty pickup from Stude. That K on Ebay was a '39 iirc... Jeff

I have a "Workhorses of Yesterday" calender here from a few years back that has a Studebaker trailer featured. Bear with me, and I will scan it and post it.
