well, I replaced the driver's window regulator over the weekend with the NOS one I picked up at York... worked splendiferously. But as before the window would not roll up all the way. So I remounted the regulator in the homemade set of holes maybe 1/4" higher... now it's a two hander again. I didn't like the excessive wear on this track, so before I replace the glass in this one, anyone got a good one? preferably tinted, so I don't have to go through the PITA of replacing the glass?
I am sure that the whole problem is that someone replaced the glass with some generic glass shop glass (there is no etching on it) and it's not quite the right shape. I do have a new piece of glass supposedly the right shape but I kinda, um, screwed up the track that I tried to put it in.
