The announcement was made at yesterday's meeting of the "Central Washington SDC" that at the International Meet a special rate was approved for making "Turning Wheels" available to local libraries on a "SUBSCRIPTON ONLY" basis. It was stated that a years subscriotion could be purchased by members and clubs at the special rate of $19.95.
We have all been wondering how we can get younger people interested in our Studebaker Cars and the continuation of SDC in the future as we older members drop out. This should provide an excellent way to get the information out to the High School age people and others.
I don't know the procedure for doing this, but I am sure that it will be announced in Turning Wheels in the near future. In the meantime I would like to urge the SDC Clubs and Members to be thinking of libraries in your area where this would work. A contact with the library to see if they would be receptive to the idea is a starting point. Also, if it could be arranged, a visit to the school with your Studebaker may further spark the interested of younger people.
