Bob, I would say that is the case 99% of the time... but I have dealt directly with MasterPower (in Mooresville, NC)on several ocassions and their customer service has been great... including letting me come look at stuff that "might" work... They have always said... "If it doesn't fit- bring it back"... I haven't had to take anything back yet to see if they honor that... but I have no reason to believe they wouldn't.
