Help!
I put a 1" gash in the vinyl on the dash of my girlfriend's 00 Outback. This is the piece just above the glove box door, and it kind of wraps down around the sides of the glove box door. The beige color matches the glove box and is lighter than the actual dash just above.
So ... the dealer said I could buy the part for $90. Then I found two online dealers of OEM parts who offer to sell me something for $30. But is it the right part?

This describes a "glove box frame - beige". Now, if "glove box frame" referred to some interior, hidden casing for the glove box, it would not be beige. So I think this must be it.Does this sound like the right part to you?
