My 2001 Legacy wagon has about 18k miles. Recently every time I started the car, I can hear fluid flowing behind the dashboard. Then after I drove it for over 5 miles the sound will go away until maybe the next day when I started it again.
Is the sound of fluid coming from fuel? Is it because some parts (filter) gets clogged?
This is just a guess but maybe coolant/heater fluid???

That car should be under warranty. Take it to the dealer.

Thanks for the info. That does line up with the weather here, which is summer right now and I do use air con from time to time.
