92 Subaru Loyale Wagon

I have a 92 Subaru Loyale wagon and it keeps throwing an EGR code. It's running rich. I changed the EGR valve and cleaned the switch but it's still throwing the code and it's running SUPER rich. I'm getting 90 miles on a tank of gas where I used to get 33mpg. I've got a complete new exhaust system except for the back catalytic converter. There are two on this vehicle. It has new plugs, the wires are fine. New O2 sensor. Cleaned the distributor cap. Has a new fuel pump although probably didn't need it. New transmission mounts, back cv axle, ujoints....trying to think what else has been done. Can someone please tell me what could be the problem or be willing to take a look at it? I've got 4000 into this vehicle and it's only worth 1700 mint and have only had it since August.

  1. Why is it throwing the EGR code when it's been replaced.
  2. Horrible clicking sound from front and it's not cv axle or low fluids, nor is there a rock in the caliper. The click sounds like it goes with each rotation of the wheel but could be wrong. It sounds like a metal click click sound. And it goes away when braking but immediately comes back. Doesn't do it all the time.
  3. Rattle sound from back end but it is not the struts as they have been replaced and the axles are fine.
