Dent Wizard - I'm sold

Just had a 2 inch door dent (just below the crease) fixed on my 2005 OBW. I checked with a local body shop and they wanted to charge me $410 to fix (filling, sanding painting etc.). Dent Wizard was about $250 cheaper and you would never know a dent was ever there. They didn't even need to pull off the inside panel.

I was skeptical but now I am sold. Just a little information for anyone who wants to go that route.

Yes, I'm a fan of paintless dent repair as well. I've had a bunch of dents and dings fixed by the local "Dent Doctor" and the results have been excellent. This is the only way to deal with those small dents that leave minimal or no paint damage, after PDR it's like they never happened.

Dentless is awesome -- if it will work for your damage. THE FIRST MONTH I had my new '03 Baja I went to the car wash and a buckle was loose in one of the spinning brushes. As my son and I rode through the car wash I could hear the rythmic banging as it travelled the entire length of the driver's side of the car. When I exited, I pulled up next to the manager's office and looked at the car -- there were about 20 small dents running up and down along the driver's side of the car. As soon as I saw it I was worried that the side of the car might need to be repainted and might never match the rest of the car 'just right.' After talking to the manager & insurance companies we settled on a price. In the meanitime I did my reasearch and my dealer's body shop was just starting to do this paintless dent repair. I was skeptical and I didn''t want to waste the insurance money on an experiment and then not have the car look awesome. Well, I decided to take a chance and the car came out great. You'd have to KNOW what you were looking for and where to look for it to see any evidence of the incident.

Ultimately the repairs were awesome, the car looks awesome, the insurance company valued the damage/repairs at $1400 to repaint and I got it done dentless for $395. I haven't been back to that car wash since but I'd drive it through that car wash once a week if I could make a grand each time. ;o)

My mom's Legacy has several small dings and dents that don't affect the paint any. I'm sure this would be something that may interest her. Details??

I had some hail damage, all over the car('03 forester), was the worse on the hood, about a hundred small dings. I told the guy I just couldn't believe they could fix that. I inspected it when they were done trying to find one imperfection so I could prove I was right and I couldn't do it. All I could see was swirls from the polishing, I have since rubbed that out mostly. I have noticed a couple of small imperfections since then but they are barely "there". they do about as good a job as is possible I believe.

btw, this happened when the car was almost new, I had only had it about a month.. heartbreaking :)

I refuse to drive through older touchless automatic washes with the STi. It's either manual, or I'll take the time to drive to one of the new ones for an undercarriage wash.
