his insurance will cover the cost of damage on a rental car.. at least in the USA it does.... unless you dont have insurance.... and who would rent you a car without insurance.....

you know what the problem is, I did get a (mastercard) citibank card with insurance, but they didn't say anywhere on the website that it's only valid for 14days, the car rental is like 28days so its not valid. It's just a ding not even a major dent like a bump some car was parallel parking they must of dinged it a bit, I don't know how they would react to it it had lots of scratches/ticks around the body of the car, some rentals wouldn't even look at it as major thing and overlook it, but then again I would like to know of a body shop that does paintless dent removal without removing the panel (15minute ones that can pull the ding out) but I haven't heard of any in greece that does that. You know the situation they may overlook it or scream to replace the whole panel just so they can rip you off another $400 or more from your credit card when they don't have any intentions themselves to even replace it ie either get it to a dent specialists who can remove dents without removing panel for like $50-100 or don't fix it at all and pocket the money. But I would like to know of a place in greece (athens area) in case they do freak out I can say ok fine I will keep the car another day take it to a body shop and give it back to them the next day in perfect condition if they complain or if it's really cheap to fix i will just get it fixed not let them be aware I even fixed it. I am also thinking of maybe taking that ding king device down there that may also work to remove the ding (so long as the paint is oem from the factory or else the paint will strip off the car). Insist it was that way when you took possesion of the car. The guy must have missed that ding when inspecting the car etc.. May seem a little shady, but nothing like they will do to you if they decide to pursue the issue. Also they will charge you full price for it and never repair the car. Or they will have there regular detail guy come by and repair it for next to nothing.

you're right what is funny my brother said maybe he wasn't even aware of the dent when he first got it from the lot and saw it afterwards, he saw a scratch on it on driver said (key scratch) and then I found out and told him he has no insurance (only 14days) he probably started looking at the car more carefully then noticed the dent. I hope they did mark it down, but it's annoying knowing that he didn't check the car before he took it off the lot, they didn't show him the dents or scratches or anything. But the good thing is he's with a big u.s. firm, sub contracted to a smaller guy in greece so maybe the small guys won't be such jerks because they want the business and not complain. He could say I am going to speak with the big u.s. car rental firm about it if they give him a hard time. Really if he took it to those paintless dent specialists it would only take them like

15minutes to fix the small unoticable dent just can't find any in greece though but I bet they do exist probably they don't show themselves only to car rental agencies so they can still charge the big bucks to fix the cars.
