It's because the sidewall is higher os can flex more. Cheers

Seems to me construction and hardness of the sidewall has a lot more to do with it than the size. The difference between STi's OEM RE070 are hard as rock, but Pirelli PZero Nero M+S are much, much software by comparison--even though they're exactly the same size.
