I have a 99 automatic forester and recently I noticed that my shifter is getting rough. It feels and sounds like it needs some lubrication whenever I shift from park to drive. Is this a sign that something is wrong or does it simply need lubrication? If it needs lubrification can I do it myself or do I need to bring it in to the dealer.
