Got a letter from Subaru

dealer kept sending me notices to get the oil changed at 3500mi on an

07' Imp 2.5i 5M wagon When they said I must have 3K on it, I had about 1200, and at 3500, I had 1800. Didn't have to be changed till 7500, so I forgot about it, and was gona change it myself anyway.

My Imp is finally softening up to where it is getting comfortable for me. Could be my muscle damages that made it too stiff. A, 1 mi test in a WRX, on bumpy city streets beat me up, but a car Hopping over bumps, felling like riding in a buckboard isn't very comfy, for the std suspension.

I wasn't that impressed with the 08' from what I saw and read, but was set on the 07' so that made a difference.

**I've read all of your trials and tribulations and I'm convinced that you should've purchased the '08 and not the '07. I test drove the '08 hatchback and sedan over some ornery CT backroads and they handled wonderfully. I think the hatchback was a skosh more tight through corners and such. They changed the rear suspension for a smoother ride. Headlights that work ;) **I think that you still wouldn't like the seat in the '08 but you would've enjoyed everything else. Smooth ride, responsive handling, subtle yet strong acceleration and a wider though shorter car. It's lovely. I just have to get used to the differences with my old '05. I was planning to do some driving this week, of course, the phone rang that morning and I was asked to go into work. I went; I need the dough. :)

I can't remember, do you have an automatic or manual?

I have a 2.5i 5M wagon.

I didn't like the look of the 08' hatch, and rather have discs in the rear. Looks like the 08' hatch has a lower hatch opening and roof at the rear, and the hatch/glass is a sharper angle creating less cargo space. I like em small that can do it all.))

I have no complaints with the handling. I don't like cars with motors hanging in front of the front axle, but What got me finally shopping for the Sube, after Thinking about them for Years, was hearing how to compensate for the understeer they can have. That and AWD made me feel I could live with and enjoy it.

If the seats had more bottom seat length, to support my thighs better, I could live with the seats. Every car that even looks interesting, I look to see if the bucket seats have an extendable front bolster

The Sube Is bending to my will. Took all the headrests off except for the drivers, to be able to see better, unless I am carrying someone. Rear, center shoulder belt attached to the rear pillar is off. Hiding the white tag on it that was a distraction when looking out the rear helped a lot, but removing the belt eliminates it completely. Depressing the clutch when braking gives a more confident feel of deceleration, though the pedal is still soft. Thinking of changing the pads before the brake booster and master cyl.

I had Finally given up my hunt for an 84-86' Mustang SVO turbo 4cyl, after missing a mint one with 10K mi on it. So few being made, they are hard to find, and hard to repair, since some parts aren't made anymore, like ball joints, and the whole front suspension must be changed if they go bad. With the price of gas So high, Ford is supposed to bring out a New turbo 4cyl SVO next yr. If they make it as good as the last one, with adjustable everything, like seats, shocks, and fuel type, my wait might be over. Only thing that wasn't ideal was the high rear sill, and didn't like the Supposed GY rain tires, that weren't.
