I picked up an oil filter for my 2000 2.5L 4 cyl Outback the other day. Went to change it today and the new filter is a slightly smaller that the existing one. Subaru P/N is 15208AA080. Can anybody confirm whether this is the correct filter or did they give me the wrong one. I'm assuming the latter.
Please ignore that post. A bit of research on the net has shown me that they gave me an Imprezza filter.
Looks like subaru parts dept have not changed. I bought a 1993 loyale new, every time I went to the two closest subaru dealers by me for parts, I would always get the wrong part.
