LAST WINTER THE PROBLEM APPEARED WHEN THE WEATHER WAS ESPECIALLY HUMID (SLUSHY DAYS).

1ST THE HAZARDS STARTED TO FLASH BY THEMSELF. 2ND THE SPEEDOMETER STARTED TO WORK "ON AND OFF". 3RD THEIR WAS AN ERROR MESSAGE ON THE ODOMETER SCREEN (ER SP) 4TH CRUISE CONTROL LIGHT WAS BLINKING AND THE CRUISE CONTROL DEVICE WASN'T WORKING ANYMORE.

DEALER CHANGED THE COMPUTER AND THE CAR WAS RUNNING OK ALL SUMMER LONG.

I JUST GOT ONE OF THOSE SLUSHY DAY LAST WEEK-END AND GUESS WHAT ? THE PROBLEMS REAPPERED !!!

WHAT ARE THE ODDS THAT I HAVE A "DEFECT" COMPUTER 2 TIMES IN ONLY 1 YEAR ????

ANYBODY ALREADY HAD THAT KIND OF PROBLEM ???

Just a SWAG, but it sounds like a bad ground. A bad ground can make your computer act goofy or even toast it completely. Most road slush around here has salt in it and water/salt does seriously bad things if it seeps into electrical connections.
