I own a Subaru STI and ive come across a problem which is, when im changing gears, the car starts to jerk?
when i put my foot onto the accelerator, the car holds back like a jerking thing.

What RPM are you shitfting at?
This is the "stuttering" problem which is quite common but doesn't affect every Subie.
Sometime a dealer ECU reflash does the trick, sometimes the reflash only partially helps.
Sounds like you're running too rich - ECU remapping will possible sort the problem.
The problem likely is you don't know how to drive a standard transmission car and are lugging the engine. Buy an automatic.
