Caveats: normal wearable portions, such as theclutch, if involved, are not covered. The Subaru dealership inJackson treated me much better than another, unnamed, dealership - andthe Jackson dealership indeed experienced the grinding while testdriving my wrx (without my assistance I might add).Subaru took care of me, and indeed I followed through and bought thesti also (with all the same options I have on my wrx). Yes, mydecision to buy the sti was to a great extent politically motivated -Subaru stuck by my first-year wrx, and I stuck by their first-year sti(I did need a second car). I'm sure the sti will put a big smile onmy face, but honestly I'll not get rid of my wagon anytime soon (andthe sti does come with summer slicks folks, not off-road or wintertires).Of course: Note that if you're experiencing the 1st gear grinding too,and a dealership also experiences it with your car, you indeed alsoare probably covered under the 5yr/60K warranty.- -----Mark Guzowski This message has been digitally signed.
