1986 ford ranger

it seems i have a fuel pump shut off valve on this engine its a 4 cylinder and right now it just stalss on me after it gets heated up from running or just sitting in hot sun after a 10 min. wait it will restart and run fine need help to figure where to look thanks JERRY

My 86 f150 was doing that at first then it slowly got worse until it wouldn't start at all.Drove me crazy. To make a long story short,It was a faulty TFI module. You might check that if it has one.
