I recently purchased an oil filter from Toyota. This time after telling them the year and model of my car I was given the yzza1. Last time I was given the yzza2. The a1 is a bit taller than the a2. I looked in my Chilton's manual, and it would seem the yzza1 is for the 2.0, which I believe is the Turbo model. My GT is the 5SFE 2.2. Other than that, they look identical.
Anyone know if these are both o.k. to use for the 92 Celica GT? Any differences other than capacity? The yzza1 one perhaps gets a little closer to the engine, but I don't see it as close enough to be of concern. I've been using this one a couple days so I hope it's not a problem :/. I just turned 100,000 and I'd like to keep going as this car has been so reliable.
