Fuel Gauge Problem

Any one had this happen: '02 Toyoda Tundra 4x4: on my last fill up the fuel gauge didn't respond and is still days later stuck on almost empty. Not a blown fuse, not a vapor lock, all other gauges working. Anyone???

I have seen this happen on older cars, where the fuel tank float got stuck in the down position, or was physically damaged, or such. Usually after a couple of days of banging around, the float freed up and the gauge indication returned. But not always.

Whether a damaged circuit from the fuel gauge or a hung fuel gauge, I think you may have to start looking in those areas.
