Double Feature
- "The Queen" (2006) Helen Mirren, James Cromwell. Stephen Frears brilliant work about the Royal Family at the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. Mirren as the Queen is remarkable, well deserving of the Oscar she got. The rest of the cast is excellent and the stag is magnificent.
- "Mrs. Henderson Presents" (2005) Dame Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins in the period piece about the famous (infamous) London Windmill theater. Vaudeville, music hall, and all nude reviews during wartime. Stephen Frears directed. Well mounted, great period setting. Dumped it at about 30 minutes. Just couldn't get into it.
