Some advert in FBMP for a low-mileage muscle car... looks mint condition. It says always garaged, never driven in rain, never washed with water. Hmmm, maybe in Palm Springs or Las Vegas. What would they wash it with then?

"Waterless" car washing products and drive-thru "waterless" car wash machines have been available for quite a few years now.
How Does a Waterless Car Wash Work?

They're not much good for very dirty vehicles (off-roaders for example), but supposedly they work fine for quick cleaning regularly, so would be okay for cleaning a car that rarely leaves the garage - just needs a quick clean after its brief "sunny Sunday drive".
Not using water can help stop rust problems from starting.
