opinions on Ken-co 3800 manifold repair kit

I am soliciting thoughts (see below also) on this repair kit, details here:

my situation- have new upper intake, should I use their replacement egr tube and forego the new lower intake from gm or should I buy the new lower intake manifold ?

opinions please ?

I think that you could use their replacement egr tube with good success. Their whole repair kit is very interesting....but I'm not totally convinced about the sleeve repair for the upper intake plenum. Often, the upper plenum ends up being warped and so I'd be more inclined to replace the upper and "repair" the lower intake.
